# Workspaces

### What are Workspaces?

Workspaces let you segment your Nationgraph experience by team, territory, or account type. Each workspace can have its own Signal filters, field mappings, and sync rules.

This is especially useful for organizations with multiple sales teams, regional coverage, or different go-to-market motions.

### Getting Started with Workspaces

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Navigate to Workspaces

Go to **Settings > Workspaces** to view and manage your workspace setup.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Create a new workspace

Give your workspace a descriptive name (e.g., **West Region** or **Enterprise Team**).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Configure filters

Set which Signals should flow into this workspace based on geography, account type, or keywords.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Territory stats

**Settings → Territories** now includes a high-level stats module.

Use it to quickly review territory coverage and recent activity before you adjust settings or sync workflows.

Territory views now focus on active institutions by default. Institutions with matching Signals still appear when relevant.

**Important**

Changes to settings affect new data only. Existing records won't be retroactively updated unless you trigger a manual re-sync.
