# Signals Overview

***

### What are Signals?

Signals are automated alerts that surface relevant public sector opportunities, contract changes, and market intelligence directly to your inbox. They monitor thousands of data sources including government databases, procurement portals, and public records to find opportunities that match your criteria.

Think of Signals as your always-on research assistant, continuously scanning for relevant information so you can focus on selling, not searching.

### When to use this:

* You want ongoing monitoring of accounts, competitors, or topics.
* You need a daily feed instead of ad-hoc research.

{% hint style="warning" %}

### **Important: Signals Loading Time!**

#### *Signals take approximately 24 hours to fully load. From first creating them, expect to start seeing Signals in your inbox after about 24 hours on average. This is normal, the system needs time to process and match data sources.*
