You can now push automation results directly into Salesforce or HubSpot, with broader coverage available through connected workflows.

This lets your team take action on NationGraph outputs without leaving your existing sales workflow.

CRM actions from Automations
{% endembed %}

### Know which workflow you are in

NationGraph supports CRM actions from both **Signals** and **Automations**.

Use this page for **Automations**.

If you want to work from a live signal, use [Advanced CRM Actions](/nationgraph/help-center/readme/integration-overview/crm-integrations/advanced-crm-actions.md).

### What you can push to your CRM

Supported push types depend on your CRM.

Salesforce and HubSpot:

* **Tasks**
* **Notes**
* **Custom field mappings**
* signal and automation context as CRM activity

Salesforce only:

* **Posts**
* **Leads**

### What sync does for Automations

When you sync an automation run, NationGraph will create or update CRM records based on the rows you select. You can track progress during the push process.

Typical use cases:

* Create follow-up tasks for ranked institutions.
* Attach vendor contract context to an account record.
* Map key result fields, scores, source flags, ACV values, and dates into your CRM for reporting.

### Requirements

* Your CRM integration must be connected.
* You may need an org admin for initial setup and permissions.

### Common automation workflows

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Vendor Contracts

Filter the contracts you want first, such as **completed** contracts.

The institution must already be linked to your CRM.

From there, you can create a **Note**, create a **Task**, push **custom field mappings**, or send contract data to a HubSpot custom object after the schema is set up.

Use [How to Push Contracts to Your CRM](/nationgraph/help-center/readme/integration-overview/crm-integrations/push-contracts-to-your-crm.md) to set up the HubSpot custom object.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Ranked Institutions

Use ranked results when you want reps to work the highest-priority opportunities first.

Push notes, tasks, custom mappings, or the signal context that explains the ranking.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Generate Outreach Sequence

Use Zapier when you want to route selected accounts, contacts, and titles into outbound systems.

This works well for tools like **Outreach** and **Apollo**.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Sync an automation run

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Open the automation results table

Go to the run you want to push. Filter the table until it shows only what you want in your CRM.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Select rows to sync

Select a small batch first. This helps validate mapping and dedupe behavior.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Choose the CRM push type

Pick how you want the records to land in your CRM:

* Task
* Note
* Custom field mapping
* Post (Salesforce only)
* Lead (Salesforce only)
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Map fields (if prompted)

Map NationGraph columns to CRM fields. Use a consistent mapping across your team.

Common mappings:

* Automation score → custom number field
* Category / reason → picklist or text field
* Last activity date → date field
* ACV total → custom currency or number field
* Contract end date → date field
* NationGraph ID → custom text field
* Sourced by NationGraph → custom checkbox or text field
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Start sync and monitor progress

Start the push. Watch sync progress as records are created or updated.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Track CRM push history

You can review CRM push history from:

* the automation run itself
* **Settings → Integrations** for global history

Use history pages to confirm what synced, when it synced, and where follow-up is needed.

### Recommended patterns

* Use **Tasks** for clear next actions and ownership.
* Use **Notes** for context your team can reference later.
* Use **custom fields** when you want reporting and dashboards.
* Use **Leads** only if your lead routing process is clean.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If your CRM dedupe rules are strict, test with a small batch first. This prevents messy cleanup.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://nationgraph.gitbook.io/nationgraph/help-center/readme/automations-overview/sync-automation-results-to-your-crm.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
